Prepared, dependable power for Catskill properties.

Commercial Building Renovation

Transforming the old bowling alley into vibrant pickleball and indoor soccer courts required extensive electrical work. We installed new lighting, upgraded electrical panels, and ensured all outlets met safety standards to support the diverse activities planned for the facility. This meticulous upgrade created a dynamic space for sports enthusiasts.

TV and Sound Bar Installation

An installation challenge arose with the need for a large TV setup. We expertly mounted an 85" TV and installed a sound bar directly beneath it, ensuring perfect alignment. Every connection was neatly made for a sleek and functional appearance, resulting in a professionally finished entertainment area that is safe and visually appealing.

“I had an excellent experience with Archimedes Electric. They mounted my 85-inch TV and did an incredible job from start to finish. They arrived right on time, were extremely professional, and handled everything with great care and precision. You can tell they really pay attention to the details—everything was perfectly aligned and securely installed. Highly recommend them if you want someone reliable, meticulous, and easy to work with.”

Job in Kingston

The garage needed a new hardwired EV charger to enhance electric vehicle charging capabilities. We installed a dedicated 50-amp, 240-volt circuit from the electrical panel to the charger, ensuring safe operation with secure connections. Additionally, we removed the old security light and replaced it with a new fixture provided by the customer, enhancing the garage's functionality.

“Elijah is incredible! He was the 4th electrician that looked at the job (an EV charger install and broken security light) and he came right away and took care of it for a super fair price! He was friendly, patient, and very trustworthy. I’d recommend him to anyone without hesitation!”

Installation of New Outlets and Properly Grounding Existing Outlets

Two ungrounded outlets were providing inadequate safety in the home, so we replaced them with GFCI outlets to enhance protection right at the receptacles. Additionally, we bonded the front door switch box for improved grounding. To further assist, we installed a second outlet in the master bedroom, connecting it to an existing power source in the attic.

“Elijah was great and did amazing work with installing two new outlets and swapping a few receptacles!”

Whole-Home Surge Protector Installation

Flickering lights were addressed by organizing and securing the neutral conductors inside the main electrical panel, alongside checking all terminations for loose or faulty connections. We installed a dedicated outlet for the Peloton, replaced breakers for the garage freezer and kitchen refrigerator, and added a whole-home surge protection device.

“Elijah is an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped us with a few electrical projects around our home, and we felt that he was knowledgeable, and did clean and professional work. We also appreciated the time he took to explain everything to us, his fair pricing, and his positive demeanor. He’ll be our go to electrician moving forward!”

New Receptacles

The damaged GFCI receptacle on the front porch needed replacement. We efficiently removed the old unit and installed the homeowner-supplied GFCI, ensuring all connections were secure and functional. Additionally, we installed five new surface-mounted receptacles in the finished attic using EMT conduit, allowing for a clean and durable setup without altering the walls. Each location provides ample plug-in points, and all installations were tested for proper operation.

“Elijah is the best!”
