200 Amp Service Upgrade and New Garage Panel

The need for a new 200-Amp electrical service was clear, so we removed the old meter panel, wiring, and sub-panel. We installed a new meter panel with a main disconnect switch, ran conduit, and replaced the main panel, along with a new grounding system. Additionally, we connected the main panel in the living room to a new sub-panel in the garage. Necessary permits and inspections were coordinated efficiently.

Additionally, we set up the new sub-panel with updated breakers and established a fresh grounding system to ensure safety and compliance. We also connected the new mini-split condenser by installing conduit, wire, a breaker, and an A/C disconnect.

Attic Electrical Safety Upgrade

An outdated electrical system in the attic posed safety concerns, which required immediate addressing. We removed the old electrical boxes serving five light locations and installed new boxes along with fixtures supplied by the homeowner. Additionally, we replaced the missing smoke detector in the attic, ensuring all connections were securely updated to meet current electrical codes for optimal safety.

New Exterior Fixtures

The existing exterior wall pack lights needed upgrading for better security and illumination. We removed the old fixtures and installed two new 4,000-lumen dusk-to-dawn wall pack lights, ensuring they operate automatically from dusk to dawn. Each fixture was securely mounted, properly wired, and weather-sealed to guarantee reliable outdoor lighting in accordance with current electrical codes.

GFCI Safety Upgrade

An issue with ungrounded outlets prompted us to replace four upstairs outlets with GFCI units, enhancing safety and compliance with current codes. We resolved nuisance tripping by replacing the microwave circuit breaker and modified the living room outlets for constant power by bypassing the switch, finishing with a blank plate. Additionally, we replaced a faulty bedroom switch, ensuring all systems functioned perfectly.
